Library on Wheels

A library that takes children on a journey

Stories are at the heart of childhood — so we put ours on wheels. Our one-of-a-kind Library on Wheels is a colourful, child-friendly bus where children step in, curl up with a book and travel into worlds of imagination.

The collection is curated for toddlers to Upper Kindergarten, bringing together much-loved Indian publishers such as Tulika, Pratham and Children's Book Trust (CBT) alongside international favourites — richly illustrated picture books, interactive stories and age-appropriate classics.

It is a daily ritual: every day begins with a story and ends with a story, making reading, listening and storytelling part of every child's day.

At Chinnara Loka, STEAM isn't a separate subject — it's experienced through stories, imagination and real-world problem solving.

Every challenge begins with a carefully chosen storybook. Children spot the problems the characters face, ask questions, explore possibilities and work together on creative solutions — thinking, designing, building and experimenting.

Every Friday, our LKG and UKG children look forward to this joyful time when little minds become curious thinkers, creators and problem-solvers.

Spaces that teach

Our spaces honour children's voices and give them many ways to express themselves. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, we treat the environment as the 'third teacher'.

Engaging all senses

Well-labelled spaces for art, design, pretend play, block play, water and sand play, maths, writing, storytelling, music, STEM and free play — layered experiences every day that maximise discovery and problem-solving.

Learning made visible
